Link My Ride is a social cycling app founded by professional cyclist Jacques Sauvagnargues and Olympic Gold Medalist Tom Pidcock. The platform allows cyclists and clubs to set up and share rides that other users can join.

After a soft launch, they were ready to grow globally. But their original codebase had performance and quality issues holding them back. They needed to add features and scale to a worldwide audience. The technical foundation wasn't ready for that growth.

We turned rebuild into rapid growth. Link My Ride launched globally in September 2022 with 10,000 downloads in the first few weeks. By January 2025, they had over 100,000 cyclists signed up and 500 cycling clubs globally.

The rebuilt foundation enabled everything that followed. Rapid feature development without performance concerns. Paid ticketing services added seamlessly. The platform scaled as users flooded in.

The successful launch attracted investment - including from professional cyclists and Formula 1 driver Valtteri Bottas. Growth that would have been impossible on the old foundation became straightforward on the new one.

The rebuild became the launchpad. The foundation enabled the growth. 100,000 users and counting.
